Florida, California, and Texas entries are checked against the cited primary statutes (e.g., Fla. Stat. § 733.212 & § 732.517; Cal. Prob. Code § 8270 & §§ 21310–21315; Tex. Est. Code § 256.204 & § 254.005), each linked so you can read the law yourself. For other states we present the universal grounds and the majority rules and clearly flag that the exact local deadline and clause rule are not individually verified — because giving you a confident wrong date would be worse than telling you to confirm it.
